Job Description:
AMC is looking for a national accounts associate that will be responsible for selling advertising (print & digital) as well as sponsorship opportunities for our platform of innovative brands. The ideal candidate is a strong self-starter who enjoys working in a team environment. This role offers a tremendous opportunity for an entry level person to start their career as a sales associate in the healthcare industry. This position has great growth potential and is ideal for someone with an aggressive hunter mentality and a solution-based, consultative approach.
Responsibilities:
- Build an expert knowledge of AMC’s portfolio to clearly and confidently present capabilities and advantages of our products and services
- Successfully sell media advertising and custom programs to pharmaceutical companies and advertising agencies
- Develop and grow a quality pipeline of new contacts and targeted potential clients through on-going networking and relationship building
- Maintain consultative relationships with clients, working closely with them to foster relationships, while taking the time to understand their needs, timeframes, and budgets
- Prepare for and schedule extensive daily outreach via phone, email, live and virtual meetings
- Upon close of new business, works closely with the client services team on project hand-off and transition
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Exceptional presentation skills (in person and virtually)
- Ability to create high-quality and compelling customer presentations
- Competitive in nature
- Ability to speak with confidence and poise
- Assertive, positive, clear, and persistent communication style
- Naturally outgoing and articulate individual who thrives in social settings
- Skilled at objection handling
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Consistent and verifiable work history
- BS or equivalent (computer science, engineering, or related) preferred.

Remote position with ability to travel throughout the year to visit clients and conventions (25% of time).
